As we wrap up 2020 I was looking back at pictures from the crazy year we had. Yes it was 2020 and it was obviously full of loss, heartbreak, and stress – but it was all filled with love, togetherness, and fun. Rob and I are so thankful for the year that we had, our family is healthy, we are closer than ever, and the boys have so much fun together – we couldn’t ask for anything more.
The three pictures above are pre-pandemic! The first is from Grayson’s 3rd birthday party (remember when those used to be a thing?!), the middle is from his actual birthday – all he wanted was a FedEx truck! And the third is from my Grandmother’s 90th birthday, we were able to get *almost* the whole family together to celebrate her on her big day, such a sweet time that I am beyond grateful that we had!
Next came March and April, where we had quiet (that’s a lie, it’s never quiet with us) celebration for Preston’s 1st birthday and Easter. We are so thankful that our family lives close, especially this year! We also celebrated Rob’s birthday at the end of April – Rob and I were able to sneak away after cake for a cold, picnic date night!

Then we kicked off summer with Memorial Day! This summer (and every summer) we spent it outside the entire time! We had ALL the picnics, enjoyed the 4th of July as a family (and officially started the blog!), and celebrated 7 years of marriage.

These three boys were on their bikes and scooters nonstop! We had a great trip with extended family up north for a week in July. Then ended our summer break with a trip to Texas to visit college friends and their families.

Then we have closed out the year with our first family themed Halloween costume, more bike rides through the forest, and Hunter turning 5!

Thank you all for following along as we launched The Meridian Bliss this year! It has been a great 6 months sharing our journey with you and a we are so grateful for your support! Happy New Year!
