What. A. Year.
As I look back and reflect on 2020 one word that comes to my mind is thankful. Yes, you read that right, thankful. Thankful that my family and I are healthy. Thankful that my family and I have had food to eat every day (and easy access to). Thankful that my family and I made so many wonderful memories. The list goes on…and I mean it, I am so thankful.

These above pictures were taken pre-covid. The first one, on a family trip to the Cayman Islands to ring in the New Year. Then, Kylie’s first birthday in January 2020 (that we were able to celebrate with family and friends, all under one roof!) and a trip to Target (February 2020). All things that I definitely took for granted pre-quarantine. I highlight these in my ‘Year of Review’ to remind myself how far I have come in 2020. I have way more patience now than I did before and how lucky that I got SO much time this year with Kylie (and Kevin) #thankful.

2020 was filled with lots of time on the couch, hours upon hours in backyard baby pool, and with the two people who mean the most to me, Kevin and Kylie. Sure, there were hard times, some crying (ok, at times, lots and not just by Kylie, ha!) and moments of frustration, but looking back I am so thankful of the memories our little family created. (Sick of hearing that word yet?!)

Kelly and I also started this blog in 2020! The above pictures are when we launched, July 4, 2020 (4th of July has always been our favorite holiday-so it was fitting!). It’s been such a fun ride so far and I am so thankful to do this with her, the best husband ever who supports it, and everyone reading right now!

As I wrap this up, 2020 has also brought one of the biggest blessings of all, a growing family. I cannot wait to watch Kylie become a big sister but until then I am holding on tight to these days of just the three of us. Thank you for your continued support and love towards my family and I…it means the world! #thankful 🙂
