Last year sometime, one of our faucet handles in our main floor powder room broke. When we needed to get a new faucet, the one I wanted didn’t match the other hardware in the bathroom … so we got all new hardware (toilet paper holder, towel bar, towel ring, lighting, mirror). When we got all new hardware, the bathroom needed to get painted (and wallpapered on one wall). When we painted….. you get where this is going. Basically we did a little upgrade to our powder bath all because one handle broke.
This was definitely a project that we wanted to get to eventually but just never got around to it because life happens. Needless to say I was thrilled when I realized that we were going to give this bathroom the love and attention it needed. I just got in our new towels for the bathroom and now it is complete, so I figured I would share some before and afters here (because who doesn’t love a good before/after?).
Almost everything we bought for this bathroom glow up was purchased on Amazon. The exceptions are: the towels (Neiman Marcus), the nest fragrance (Nordstrom), light fixture (Wayfair), and the “art” (I made it at Board and Brush!). Everything is linked at the bottom of this post as well. I am beyond thankful that I have a handy husband! Rob did this entire thing himself – he did SUCH an amazing job. I love our new powder room so much, it makes getting the boys ready in the morning so much nicer!
