It is so hard to believe that we are now officially over half way through 2022. We wanted to round up your favorite items that we have posted about so far this year! There is something for everyone on this top 20 list. From clothing items for you to a piggy bank for your little ones, this list is all over the board – and I love it! So here it is, the top 20 of the year so far.
This blue and white dress is a go to of mine. It’s easy, it’s comfortable, it’s appropriate for pretty much any occasion, and it has been the number one purchase by you all this year!
You all went crazy over this handbag! And for good reason, it could not be prettier (and also super affordable).
This backless pink dress was a hit after I wore it in the Cayman Islands. I love that if you throw on a denim jacket you can easily wear it to work, church, or anywhere!
Our favorite (and now yours) summer pajamas. If you haven’t snagged your little, or big, ones a set then do it!
I could not be more obsessed with this visor. Major perk – it is packable!
This little bench was such a fun purchase when we got it, and it still is! I love the little table that pops up, it is super practical.
I wore this dress for Easter and I think it is absolutely precious. It is pretty, comfortable, and flattering for all!
This ABC Busy Box was a hit with all three boys! This craftivity is great because kids learn to follow (picture) directions and after a couple they were able to do this completely independently (even Preston, my 3 year old!).
This Spanx top is another top that you need to buy to have ready for the fall! It is perfect for work, errands, or running around with the kids.
The cutest block letter toddler baseball cap. This is one on the list that we do not own, but we may have to get them!
The creativity that happens with the boys while using these foam blocks is truly amazing. They build, create, and imagine all the things with these blocks.
One of my favorite purchases of the year so far are these give, save, spend piggy banks. We firmly believe that all money taken in should be divided into three: 10% give back to God, 10% save, and the rest is to spend on whatever! This little piggy bank has made teaching this system to the boys so much easier.
This floral dress just makes me want to twirl! It is so fun – perfect for a party or a date night.
These shoes are the 2nd item on this list that we do not own, but we love these shoes nonetheless! Maybe I need to get them for Rob?!
I just posted this red dress recently, and I also bought it for the 4th of July! I love it so much and will post it more after this weekend.
The toothpaste cap that saves your counters from a toothpaste mess! Highly recommend.
Another item I just recently posted was this stain remover that we use. If you don’t trust me, then trust the over 18,000 5 star reviews on Amazon.
We took a poll on Instagram last week and from the results it seems as if a lot of you are going to be shopping (or taking a look) at the Nordstrom Sale! Some of you may have already started shopping (Icon and Ambassador), some can start tomorrow (Influencer), and then public access opens July 28th! Regardless, we are sharing our top 5 items on our wish list. See below for both Michelle & Kelly’s picks!
The LWD…such a wardrobe staple, especially during these summer months! Whether you are a bride-to-be getting ready to celebrate your wedding shower or just looking for a fresh new white dress to wear to brunch and around town, we got you covered!
Splurge Worthy Dresses
1- This smocked tie-strap dress from Nordstrom is so charming!
Today we are sharing 5 random things we are (each) currently loving! We thought it would be fun to share out our favorites from the following; feminine tops for spring/summer, perfume, books, TV shows, and meals. While we are sisters and have lots of similarities, it’s fun to also see how are styles and ‘likes’ are so different! Kelly’s picks are on the left and Michelle’s picks are on the right
Kelly- give me all the smocked tops! I have already worn this top way too many times since getting it! I love the ditsy floral & smocked trend – so feminine and beautiful.
Michelle- I’m loving this flutter sleeve trapeze top from Abercrombie. Being 12 weeks postpartum I appreciate that this top is forgiving but still super cute. Also love that it can be easily dressed up for a night out or worn running errands around town! Definitely snagging this!
Kelly- this one is so hard for me! I haven’t read any recently that have blown me away and when I was thinking back on books that I have enjoyed the most I kept going back to Me Before You, Redeeming Love, Jessica Simpson’s Open Book, the list goes on. Currently I am reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I like it so far. Fiction, Nonfiction, (auto)biographies, thriller, you name it – I’ll read it!
Michelle- Much Ado About You. I love any and all romantic comedies so if you are the same, then pick this up! Also love that it is based in Chicago.
Kelly- Like books – this is a hard one. Real Housewives (OC, BH, & NY are my favs), Chicago Fire & PD, Southern Charm, Big Sky, and Younger are my favs at the moment.
Michelle- My husband and I are currently in the middle of watching Mare of Easttown on HBO Max. It’s about a small town detective (Kate Winslet) who is investigating a murder. It’s somewhat dark but I am hooked! For a lighter show, we also just finished Beauty and the Baker on Netflix.
Kelly- these silicone cup covers are a lifesaver from spills! We also have these, which aren’t a sippy cup but use a straw instead – both of these tops are used all. the. time. at our house (and out at restaurants too!).
Michelle- I am currently obsessed with this on-the-go baby dome. We have been using it daily at our house! It’s perfect for outdoor use and it protects from both the sun and bugs. Definitely a must have if you have a baby!
Today I’m breaking down some of my favorite nursing friendly tops! These are all great tops whether you are lounging at home, working from home, heading to the office, etc. I love that these tops can also be worn everyday-regardless if nursing or not!
What I love about these tops is that they are all super functional…you can wear now and later (aka you don’t need to be nursing!). I find myself grabbing my button down thermal from Urban Outfitters most, I love everything about that style, plus, its one shirt that actually fits me right now 🙂
Hope this post is helpful! Comment below if with any other baby/mama related posts you would like to see!
One of my go-to spring and summer wardrobe staples are denim shorts. I love them for so may reasons; they are so versatile, comfortable, and can easily be dressed up or down! See below for some of my favorite ways to style them!
This is such an easy and casual look for the summer-it’s a favorite! Pair these denim shorts from Nordstrom with a cute tank like this and this look can take you from the grocery store, to the pool, to a neighborhood BBQ! Pair with sneakers (like I did!) or sandals.
2. Denim shorts (mine is sold out but similar ones here and here) and a blouse
I love to pair this look with wedges for a girls night out or date night! If you’re looking for a more casual look though switch out the wedges for sandals and you have the perfect outfit for a day of errands or brunch with girlfriends!
Love pairing denim shorts (these are from Target!) with booties like these and a button down for a night out! Switch out the booties for sneakers and throw on a baseball cap and this is the perfect outfit for heading to your littles soccer game, running errands, or just for those unwashed hair days!
I love shoes and I love spring/summer – put them together and I am happy! haha! Shoes are something that I don’t mind investing in, especially if it’s a pair that I know I am going to be wearing on repeat. But at the same time, they are also something that I don’t mind buying “cheap”. I totally see the value of both splurging on shoes AND saving your money by buying the cheaper (similar) version.
I have rounded up 5 spring friendly shoes and have listed both the splurge shoe and the less expensive but similar option. I hope you find something you like!
With the first quarter of the year over (crazy!!) we wanted to round up the most purchased items of 2021. These are all products we own and love (and #notsponsored) and you guys seemed to love them too!
Hair Towel Wrap– the best for those non-hair wash days, putting on make-up, washing your face, etc. So many uses! (see above pic of Kelly)
