Today I’m breaking down some of my favorite nursing friendly tops! These are all great tops whether you are lounging at home, working from home, heading to the office, etc. I love that these tops can also be worn everyday-regardless if nursing or not!
What I love about these tops is that they are all super functional…you can wear now and later (aka you don’t need to be nursing!). I find myself grabbing my button down thermal from Urban Outfitters most, I love everything about that style, plus, its one shirt that actually fits me right now 🙂
Hope this post is helpful! Comment below if with any other baby/mama related posts you would like to see!
One of my go-to spring and summer wardrobe staples are denim shorts. I love them for so may reasons; they are so versatile, comfortable, and can easily be dressed up or down! See below for some of my favorite ways to style them!
This is such an easy and casual look for the summer-it’s a favorite! Pair these denim shorts from Nordstrom with a cute tank like this and this look can take you from the grocery store, to the pool, to a neighborhood BBQ! Pair with sneakers (like I did!) or sandals.
2. Denim shorts (mine is sold out but similar ones here and here) and a blouse
I love to pair this look with wedges for a girls night out or date night! If you’re looking for a more casual look though switch out the wedges for sandals and you have the perfect outfit for a day of errands or brunch with girlfriends!
Love pairing denim shorts (these are from Target!) with booties like these and a button down for a night out! Switch out the booties for sneakers and throw on a baseball cap and this is the perfect outfit for heading to your littles soccer game, running errands, or just for those unwashed hair days!
I love shoes and I love spring/summer – put them together and I am happy! haha! Shoes are something that I don’t mind investing in, especially if it’s a pair that I know I am going to be wearing on repeat. But at the same time, they are also something that I don’t mind buying “cheap”. I totally see the value of both splurging on shoes AND saving your money by buying the cheaper (similar) version.
I have rounded up 5 spring friendly shoes and have listed both the splurge shoe and the less expensive but similar option. I hope you find something you like!
With the first quarter of the year over (crazy!!) we wanted to round up the most purchased items of 2021. These are all products we own and love (and #notsponsored) and you guys seemed to love them too!
Hair Towel Wrap– the best for those non-hair wash days, putting on make-up, washing your face, etc. So many uses! (see above pic of Kelly)
Vacuuming is one of my favorite household chores to do…call me crazy, but I love it! I bring out the vacuum at least once a day and am obsessed with having clean floors. However, for those of you with pets or kids you understand how important it is to deep clean your carpets every now and then and an everyday vacuum isn’t going to cut it for that! This Bissell TurboClean Powerbrush Cleaner has been a game changer for our carpets. Even though we do not have pets, our carpets require deep cleaning with all the playing, snacking, etc. the kids do! Plus, we are always playing on the carpet and it’s important to us that we keep it clean for the kids. This vacuum is lightweight and perfect for heavy traffic areas or even small spaces. The Bissell OXY formula deep cleans the carpet and removes stains and the detachable nozzles make it so easy to clean. It’s a game changer!
As for the everyday clean up, our favorite vacuum is the cordless Dyson which we love with all our heart (LOL, it’s true). The features on the Dyson are so user friendly and make cleaning and vacuuming easy peasy! The Dyson does come with a steep price tag so those looking for a more budget friendly option we recommend this one from amazon (Michelle owns!). It’s great for the everyday mess that is our floors 🙂 We also wanted to add our favorite instant carpet spot remover. This is also an everyday use and it’s so convenient because it requires no rinsing! You just spray and go! Perfect for the juice spills, arts and crafts clean ups, etc!
Major nesting mode happening over here and I just cannot. stop. organizing. It brings me such joy to open a drawer or closet and have it perfectly organized and clean. Are all spaces in my house like that? HA far from it but today I’m sharing out my favorite home organization pieces, all from The Container Store!
iDesign Affixx Adhesive Organizer Bins: I use my bin for storing dishwasher pods (it’s hanging from the inside of our kitchen sink!). There are SO many uses for this clear, strong bin though (spices, cosmetics, frequently used items, etc) This is one of my favorite storage hacks!
Divided Lazy Susans: Again, SOOO many ways to use this. I have these divided lazy susans in my fridge, pantry, and playroom! We use them to store snacks in the fridge/pantry and art supplies in the playroom. It’s so convenient for tight spaces since it spins and you can easily access whatever is stored inside!
The Home Edit by iDesign 9″ Lazy Susan: I just can’t get enough of lazy susans lol! But this one is great for storing oils in the kitchen and bath necessities. It fits perfectly in our corner drawer in our kitchen.
Marie Kondo Narrow In-Drawer Knife Organizer: This was a recent purchase (I needed it for my own mentality) to get everything off of my kitchen counters. Love that this piece fits inside a drawer and is a safe way to store knives (and keep them sharp!).
Card Keeper: I’m a sucker for cards and when I see a cute or funny one at Target I’ll buy it and save it. This is the perfect way organize all your cards (greeting, birthday, thinking of you, etc). I also love to tabbed dividers and keep special cards that were given to me here. *see below pic
Acrylic Risers: Another thing that can be used in so many ways! I have these under our bathroom sink and in Kylie’s closet (as shoe display/storage). Another great purchase for small spaces to maximize the area.
Battery Organizer: Anyone with kids knows how important it is to always have extra batteries on hand! I love that this one has organized spaces so you can see the size and easily access them in the moment.
Drawer Organizers: We have these in our kitchen and bathrooms. They are great for keeping drawers organized that have a tendency to get cluttered.
Today we are rounding up our all time favorite kitchen items. Being in quarantine, we have been spending lots of time in the kitchen. We love nothing more than a clean, organized, kitchen space and all of these items make us so happy! We tried to keep this list at around $100 and budget friendly!
This Nambe salad bowl (pictured above) is not only gorgeous it’s also extremely functional when hosting groups. We love serving any type of salad in this bowl and have gotten so many compliments on it. This would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays, too!
This Amanda Lindroth Island Wrapped Pitcher is another favorite around here. It works well when serving mimosas at breakfast, water or iced tea for lunch, and a margarita on the rocks with dinner! Amanda Lindroth also sells matching glassware as well as other pitcher options, too. Another great gift idea for someone who loves to host!
With fall in full swing here in Chicago, we figured we would round up some of our favorite booties. We wear booties with everything in the fall and love how versatile they are. They are some of the most comfortable shoes that we own. We love the fact that no matter the outfit- heel or no heel – booties will always completely elevate the look. Below we’ve rounded up some of our favorite booties below!
We both love a good romper in the summer, and love how they can transition into early fall by layering with a sweater or jacket! And late in the summer we have jumpsuits on a regular rotation. Now that we are both back to work (from home) after the summer off, we know that we will be living in there rompers & jumpsuits.. and will be investing in a couple more!
This gray Zella jumpsuit us comfortable and cute! It is a bit heavier than the Vici one, so it would be great throughout the entire fall season. I love how this jumpsuit gives me the ability to be comfortable but still look put together. With the top being a bit on the looser side, I typically wear a cute bralette underneath! Mine is currently unavailable but I am linking similar ones here and here.
This romper has been on repeat this past summer. This exact romper is no longer available but I purchased it on amazon and have found a couple similar rompers. This one is a similar color to my charcoal gray romper. I love how this one has a more polished and dressed up feel, but is also as comfortable as the rest. And this one has SO many different colors and patterns, there is bound to be one that everyone likes!
This last romper is like butter, the softest and most comfortable romper there is. It is a great look for lounging around the house, working from home, or grabbing lunch with a girlfriend. This super soft and stretchy material is really a dream to wear! Pink Lily is one of the places that we often like to shop at and here are a couple more of our favorite rompers from there – the cutest tie dye romper and animal print is always a win in my book!
This black jumpsuit is from Vici. This jumpsuit is super lightweight, making it s perfect transition piece from summer into fall. I love how the waistband is a functional drawstring. And you can easily wear the pant leg at a cropped length or a full length. Although I love both looks, I typically go for the full length pant. This exact jumpsuit is almost sold out but Vici as SO many similar options linked here, here, and here.
