Summer nights out with our husbands are our favorite! We love getting dressed up and having one on one time with them. For summer date nights, the outfit options are endless. We put together 4 different looks to help inspire you for your next date night.
Shorts We love the simplicity of shorts for a date night. Pairing denim shorts with a dressier tank and wedges or a pair of heels dresses up the outfit just enough! I am wearing these shorts, a similar tank, and similar wedges.
2. Dress If you know me at all, you know that I would live in dresses if I could! Having three small, active boys means I don’t get to wear them as regularly as I like to. That being said, date nights for me – I will usually always be wearing a dress. Depending on where we are going I will dress it up with heels or wedges or dress it down with sandals. I am wearing this dress here.
3. Romper I never underestimate a good romper! I love a good romper and always find myself reaching for mine. Rob and I had a dinner event for a nonprofit we support last night and I wore *almost* this exact outfit. I absolutely adore this romper!
4. Skirt You can never go wrong with a skirt on a date night in the summer months. I love this skirt and will find any excuse to wear it.
Anyone else in need of a girls’ night out?! It feels like it’s been forever (and a lifetime ago) that we had a proper night out with our girlfriends. Ideally, we would love our girls nights to be monthly, but with kids schedules, work, family gatherings, etc. girls nights are far and few between. When they do happen though, it’s always nice getting dressed up and putting on a fun outfit for the occasion. We have put together a couple of our favorite girls night out looks below-take a look at let us know your favorite!
What do you like to do for girls night?! Whether your girls nights are at a restaurant, on a patio, or at someones house we love these “girls night out” looks that we put together! Cheers, girls!
Wedding season is just around the corner and we are hopeful (as we are sure all you brides are) that this year weddings are able to be a bit more pre-covid than last year! Whether the wedding you are attending is going to be a quaint backyard celebration or a larger scale wedding, you will still need a new dress to wear to celebrate the newlyweds. We both have a couple of weddings coming up and figured we would get a jumpstart on dress shopping to be able to share our favorite picks with you. Hopefully what we have put together here will fit any type of wedding you might be attending this spring/summer.
This first set of dresses are all from Nordstrom
This next collage of dresses are from a combination of our favorite places – enjoy!
Hope these dresses give you some inspiration for your upcoming weddings!
Anyone else dreaming of summer?! Forget summer, I would take anything above freezing at this point! I adore dresses and wish I could wear them year round, but since that is not possible in Chicago – I get even more excited for spring/summer. This dress that I am wearing is from Amazon and under $30. You all are probably going to get tired of seeing it because it is going to be on repeat once the weather warms up just a bit.
