Today we have an exciting announcement- we are thrilled to announce that we are officially a Brand Ambassador for Sarah Flint Shoes!
If you haven’t heard of Sarah Flint, we are excited to be the ones to introduce you to this amazing brand. Sarah Flint shoes are SO comfortable and SO beautiful. They are 100% certified made in Italy. Sarah makes luxury shoes at a lower cost because they are sold direct to you, she doesn’t need to offset costs of being sold in big department stores. Her shoes are absolutely stunning and when you put them on your demeanor changes instantly, you just feel good. With being Brand Ambassadors – we have a code for $50 for you when you purchase your first pair of shoes! Use the code SARAHFLINT-BATHEMERIDIANBLISS at checkout!
If you are in the market for a new pair of classic, beautiful shoes – look no further! She has every type of shoe for every occasion. These boots are perfect to take you anywhere and everywhere during the fall and winter months. And these booties (they come in leather and suede) are so stunning and would be perfect to wear from work, to dinner, to a party! Not a fan of a heel? Not to worry, the same booties (also in leather and suede) come with just the slightest lift!
The flats Sarah has are just as beautiful as her boots. These are my favorite house shoe and I love these, these, and these flats as well! For summer, I love these sandals.
Although shoes are Sarah Flint’s main focus, she loves all things beautiful – and also has some gorgeous accessories and home decor (think headbands, scarves, tablecloths, napkins).
Starting a New Year always means one thing… the gyms are crowded. About 6 months ago, Rob and I swapped out our gym membership for the Tonal. Best decision! Having a gym at home means no crowds, no travel time, and I don’t have to worry about scheduling my day around a specific class I want to take. I have the ability to create my own workouts, choose a program to do over the course of a couple weeks, or do a live class.
This year, I think my fitness resolution would have to be to take the time at the end of my workout to stretch. This is not always a priority for me in the past couple of years, it is an easy part to skip over, and I can tell the difference. Whether or not you have a fitness resolution, you could probably use some new athleisure… always, am I right? Here are some of my favorite athleisure pieces to bring me into the new year and inspire my fitness resolutions.
Over the winter break holiday we took a family trip to Florida to escape the cold Chicago days and to get some fun in the sun on the beach! We feel very fortunate to have been able to travel over the holidays and to get to spend extra time with our family.
We spent the week on Anna Maria Island in Florida and had the best time! This was a new location for us, and it did not disappoint! We were not sure what the weather would be like so late in the year but we lucked out with sunny and 70’s everyday.
In the mornings we mostly played on the beach in our pajamas (it was still kind of chilly at that time). Other days we took walks for coffee and exploring, went shopping at St. Armands Circle (adorable), and we even found the cutest little pirate ship park that all the kids loved!
After naptime we would head to the pool. Kylie absolutely LOVES the water and it was so fun to watch her jump in and splash around. Hunter has recently taken off with swimming so it was exciting to watch him try new tricks (like cannonballs). Grayson is timid in the water but still ventured out more than ever, it was wonderful to see his confidence grow as the week went on. Preston is not the biggest water lover – he was happier searching for salamanders!
Places to eat: The SandBar – the perfect place for lunch or happy hour in my opinion (especially if you have kids). The boys had the best time running around on the beach while we waited for our food. Definitely recommend The SandBar. Mar Vista – Beautiful scenery! Another nice place with kids because the outdoor space is decently large and there is a dock to walk out onto as well. Bayou Tavern – a quaint pizzeria on Longboat Key. We had a delicious dinner here, probably one of my (Kelly) favorite dinners. The Ugly Grouper – this place is a must do for everyone. Great outdoor space (even a game section for the young, or the young at heart). I highly recommend the pretzel bites for an appetizer! Viento Kitchen + Bar – at the Zota Beach Resort. We ate here on NYE and had a delicious meal. The restaurant was beautiful and the setting was lovely.
